The second of the DRONE MACHINES, entitled Bellows, is a vocal beatbox sampler/controller module. Composed of a microphone and 5 channels of mappable faders and buttons, this unit allows you to compose up to 5 tracks of simulataneous vocal audio looping. An external sequencer attached via USB/MIDI is required (either hardware or software). The device is mainly comprised of a fully tapered 8×10 to 4×6 vinyl bellows, which houses the microphone and is fully collapsible into the box. The tapered Bellows and handles are intended to provide the user with a meaningful voice sink in which to project the vocals.
