The Trachea Quad Mic is one of the most versatile instruments in the arsenal. I have attempted over the years to make the sounds and rhythm with my mouth so that my hands would be free to work the machines. This device is now mouth free and attaches to my trachea and straps around my neck. Each mic is a standard piezo housed in an aluminum shell, that angles each inward, encapsulating my voice box in a very direct way. These mics are very sensitive and with the setup being very loud overall, they are left muted most of the time. Each mic has a different effect and synth setup so that I can unmute different mics at different types to create many layers and soundscapes.
