Another new series of instruments finally in the works. The one shown here was designed mainly at STEIM in Amsterdam, during my stay there in September. There will be a few other texture based instruments to go along with this…I’m hoping for the summer 2012 for them to be done. (more…)

This is the beginning of a series of voice modulating masks that for the most part will not involve any computer effects. Some actuation will be computer controlled, but I really feel there is enough effect in the voice as it is and I would like to be able to perform acoustically with these masks worn by many musicians. I will write some music as soon as I finish fabricating them. Right now there 5, but more are bound to find their way in.

Lots of new stuff happening on many fronts. New album: all played on Dub Machines, 5 tracks on the vinyl, 7 tracks on the CD. Tour in Europe from Sept. 8th to 25th with performances at STEIM, Gogbot, and Incubate Festivals as well as other shows in Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, etc. still working out dates so I don’t want to announce yet.
